Doing business with NMBA assures you will receive quality building materials and services in Northern Minnesota. All of our members have to abide by a strict code of ethics. Behind each of our members is a state and national association to assure that they receive the latest building information available.

Your best bet is to contact several persons to give you bids on your building job. Make sure that you get a license number for all builders in order to make sure that your contractor is licensed. You can call the Department of Commerce for an update on the contractor's license at 1-800-657-3978.

Finally, get local references from recent area customers of the sub's and contractors. At this point you will be able to make a sound decision and get started on that building/remodeling construction job.
